Teen Arrested for Threatening Statement at School

The Queen Creek Police Department (QCPD) has arrested a seventeen-year-old student following a reported threatening statement made on November 12, 2024. The administration of Queen Creek High School reported the incident to QCPD, which led to an immediate investigation.
The student faces charges for threatening, intimidating, and interfering with or disrupting an educational institution. They have been booked into the Maricopa County Juvenile Detention Center.
Police Chief Randy Brice stated that the department does not tolerate any actions that endanger school safety and will hold individuals accountable. There is currently no known ongoing threat to the school.
QCPD is committed to investigating threats seriously and urges the public to report any safety concerns by calling 480-358-3500, or 9-1-1 in emergencies. The investigation is still active.
