A traffic stop on Interstate 10 near Milepost 200 in Casa Grande led to a significant drug seizure. A trooper from the Southern Canine District assisted a Highway Patrol state trooper after the vehicle was pulled over for a traffic violation. During the stop, officers observed indicators of criminal activity and conducted a consent search. The canine trooper found 40.5 pounds of cocaine hidden in a compartment in the vehicle’s center console. Narcotics detectives assisted with the investigation.
