Over 450 attend Youth Dodgeball fundraiser for camp

The YMCA of Central Ohio said more than 450 people attended its annual Youth Development Dodgeball Fundraiser last month.

The YMCA said the event was hosted by its Region 1 School Age Child Care leadership team and included 36 teams representing four school districts: Olentangy Local School District, Big Walnut Local School District, Buckeye Valley Local Schools and Delaware City Schools.

According to the YMCA, the fundraiser raised more than $4,700. The group said the money supports its Send a Kid to Camp Campaign to help more children attend summer camp and experience the “belonging, achievement and relationships” associated with camp.
